Overview

The QA/QC Technician is responsible for conducting Inspections/Observations to assess compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and manufacture standards. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes. The QA/QC Technician will collaborate with the QA/QC Manager to identify and correct quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated  on industry  changes  and adjust  quality  practices  accordingly. 
 
Audits:
 
• Perform QA/QC Inspections/Observations  on a daily basis o f assigned s ites.
• Document findings  include  non-conformities, potential risks, and areas for
improvemen t as outlined in the QA/QC checklist. 
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all Inspection  activities, findings, and
follow -ups.
• Assist, when applicable, on training employees in quality standards and best
practices to maintain consistent compliance. 
Corrective Actions: 

  • Detect any deviations from quality standards and report them QA/QC Manager,
    sitepervisors or other relevant personnel.
    • Work with your Manager to provide recommendations to enhance quality
    standards, minimize risks, and improve efficiency.

Other: 
• Stay up to date  with industry, manufacturing and internal standards, local, state and
national codes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance. 

Qualifications

 
• Familiarity  in quality  assurance/control .
• Learning  Management  System  experience  preferred 
• Have an understanding of  all aspects  of Microsoft  Office Suite 
• Knowledge  of adult  learning  concepts 
• Agile  in willingness  and ability  to take on different  projects  or learn  new areas 
• Excellent  time management  skills,  public  speaking  skills,  problem -solving 
skills  and both verbal  and written  communication  skills 
Education: 
• Bachelor’s degree  preferred,  or equivalent  experience 
 
Experience: 
• Minimum  of 2 years  in structured cabling 
• Have an understanding of both industry and manufacturer’s standards and proper
installation of cable infrastructure
