Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
  • Develop improvements to warehouse operation systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management and possible workflow improvements.
  • Drive process completion in a timely manner by mastering the Vision ERP system.
  • Provide Quarterly Reports and analysis to the Senior Leadership Team regarding inventory movements, project inventory value and physical space utilization.
  • Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Submit quarterly initiatives to ensure improvements in process and personnel.
  • Manage the warehouse team delivery schedule to ensure full coverage during working hours
  • Review all existing processes to ensure the most cost-effective actions are being taken.
  • Manage and coordinate annual inventory counts.
  • Work with the Purchasing and AP Teams to resolve logistics and data entry issues.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Windows based software, especially Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage.
  • Able to lift and pull heavy objects.

Job Type: Full-time – Salary. May be required to work additional hours and/or weekends, as needed, to meet assigned workload.

 

Location: Glen Burnie Office with/ monthly visits to NOVA Warehouse.

 

All offers are contingent on the successful completion of a background and drug screen. 

 

Base Salary: $60,000-70,000

 

Please note that this job posting includes base salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region where the requisition is posted.  If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, internal equity, and education of the applicant.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses, car allowance, cell phone reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement.
