A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the supply chain for company products from the manufacturing stage through to storage and product orders. Their duties include managing vehicle repairs and Driver needs, monitoring supply chain software to track order shipments and investigating lost shipments or late deliveries.
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary.
• Use a computer to track product shipments across multiple channels.
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
• Identifying areas for process improvement and helping develop and implement any changes to increase efficiency and reduce delivery timelines and or costs.
• Ensuring that the remote receipt process is being followed by assisting the Operations teammates or entering receipts themselves.
