Overview

Vision Technologies is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Systems to join our team with strong project management experience and a passion for processes and system connectivity. As a leader of the Business Systems team, the Sr. Manager is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and improvement of our ERP- Infor LN. This teammate will be a critical partner in driving change to support our growing business. They will be the connector between the IT and business sides of the team and will lead future system integration projects. We are looking for people who can speak to and translate different audiences, have an aptitude for learning, and love solving hard problems for the team.

Responsibilities

 

Administration Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of the ERP system and integrated software, including system configuration, performance, and communication/training
  • Main point of contact for all things ERP internally and manage the financial budget for the program
  • Drive continuous system improvement and transformation to support business growth
  • Lead certificate and contract renewals for business solution software
  • Manage Vision’s relationships with 3rd Party integrators, consultants, and partners

 

Project Management Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Vision’s configuration management and change management process and procedures
  • Communicate to various stakeholders (Leadership, SMEs, Full Company) the status of the system and system development
  • Coordinate our subject matter experts and consultants to drive development and system improvements
  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps, find solutions, and prioritize effort and resources
  • Develop, communicate, enforce project/development timelines, including milestones, deadlines, and blockers
  • Own additional cloud based software integrations into the ERP from research through development to implementation and adoption

 

People Management Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team including an ERP System Administrator, Business Systems Analyst, and Business Solutions Developer
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members while creating a positive and supportive environment
  • Conduct performance reviews, set performance goals, and address issues as needed
  • Monitor and adjust team workload and priorities to meet team goals

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or related experience and/or training
  • 2 years’ experience of people management with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Experience with full-scale ERP implementation and subsequent cloud-based system integrations
  • Experience in a project-based IT business model
  • Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, provide solutions, and suggest best practices within our ERP environments, Infor preferred
  • Demonstrates analytical skills with excellent data collection and analysis in performing root cause analysis
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions across a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, understanding priorities and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to think abstractly and deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems
  • Demonstrates technical documentation, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / MIS / business administration or a related discipline
  • Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems
  • Experience with Infor ERP administration or other ERP systems
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certification

Base Salary- $140,000-$155,000.


Please note that this job posting includes base salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region where the requisition is posted.  If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, internal equity, and education of the applicant.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses, car allowance, cell phone reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement.
