Overview

The Manufacturer and Partner Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key manufacturers and channel partners to drive mutual growth and success. This role is critical in ensuring that our technology integration solutions are supported by strong partnerships; maximizing the value of these relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of channel partner ecosystems, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive increased profitability and win ratios through effective use of partner pricing programs, uncover new end-user opportunities, and evaluate potential solution offerings that enhance recurring revenue streams.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key manufacturers and channel partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related activities.
  • Partner Strategy: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy that aligns with company goals, drives revenue growth, and leverages partner pricing programs to increase profitability and win ratios.
  • Channel Development: Identify and onboard new channel partners that complement the company’s integrated technology solutions and expand market reach.
  • Program Management: Drive the increased use of partner pricing programs to enhance competitive positioning and profitability while supporting the sales team in utilizing these programs effectively.
  • Joint Business Planning: Work with partners to develop joint business plans that outline mutual goals, co-marketing initiatives, sales targets, and strategies to uncover new end-user opportunities.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team by leveraging partner relationships to gain access to new opportunities, secure competitive pricing, and transition qualified end-user opportunities to the outside sales team.
  • Solution Evaluation: Continuously review and assess new potential solution offerings from partners that align with the company’s strategy to drive annual recurring revenues and meet evolving market demands.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on partner performance, including sales metrics, market share, profitability, and overall contribution to the company’s revenue.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, competitive dynamics, and partner capabilities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with partners, ensuring a collaborative and productive relationship.
  • Training and Enablement: Coordinate training sessions and enablement programs for partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about our products and solutions.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and support, to ensure alignment and successful execution of partner-related initiatives.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or business development within the technology industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
    • Deep understanding of the channel partner ecosystem and technology sales.
    • Ability to develop and execute strategic partner plans that drive profitability and recurring revenues.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and partner management tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
