Overview

Oversees payroll procedures, ensuring that employees are appropriately and timely compensated within all federal and state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely completion of payroll processing tasks, payroll reconciliations and report distribution
  • Serves as a payroll “Subject matter expert” by answering questions regarding payroll process and systems
  •  Will be responsible for creating and updating payroll procedure documentation.
  • Communicates with various departments and performs research to accurately process payroll.
  • Ensures Payroll platforms set-ups
  • Responsible for accuracy of ADP payroll data
  • Experience with multi-state tax reporting
  • Must have broad knowledge of payroll practices
  • Respond to inquiries related to payroll processes and procedures
  • Run and review audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll data

 

Qualifications

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications in (Excel, Word, Outlook - manipulate lines, moving data, construct simple formulas)
  • ADP Payroll experience required.
  • Review, follow, and provide input to payroll team objectives
  • Looks for ways to improve the current program and processes
  • Capable to be able to sort through issues, seek input from others to identify and address the root cause of issues
  • Handles pressure well, adjusts plans to meet change needs and acts on opportunities
  • Maintain confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy

 

Base Salary Range- $50,000-$65,000

 

Please note that this job posting includes base salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region where the requisition is posted.  If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, internal equity, and education of the applicant.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses, car allowance, cell phone reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement.
