Overview

The Warehouse Clerk ensures all material is managed and documented according to established processes and in a timely and accurate manner. The position will work with all departments to ensure compliance objectives are met. 

  (THE POSITION IS FOR OUR COORPORATE OFFICE IN GLEN BURNIE, MARYLAND)

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Providing excellent customer service to our internal teammates.
  • Receiving material shipments and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Entering receipt data and product information into accounting system.
  • Making deliveries with box trucks
  • Delivering large equipment to job sites.
  • Pulling stock material and staging for projects.
  • Preparing and processing outgoing shipments.
  • Assisting Operations with signing out materials for projects.
  • Participating in monthly and annual inventory counts
  • General warehouse/office maintenance.
  • Driving forklift.
  • Ability to drive a 26 foot truck for deliveries 

 

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Clean driving record, must be able to obtain a DOT card
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Windows based software, especially Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage.
  • Able to lift and pull heavy objects.

The physical demands of this position are those that are necessary to meet the responsibilities and essential functions of this position which sometimes includes lifting objects over 50 pounds. Job Type: Full-time – Hourly. May be required to work additional hours and/or weekends, as needed, to meet assigned workload.
