Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for full life-cycle management for projects of all sizes, including organization and management of resources and activities for planning, materials purchasing, installation, budget-tracking, and project closeout. In addition, for certain programs/projects, the Project Manager will work as a member of a larger Project Management Team.

 

The Project Manager's focus is on delivering World Class Customer Experience and Quality. They are integral to the account team and is key in building a trusted relationship with the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Conform and adhere to all responsibilities within the Operational Guidelines throughout the phases of: Presales, Planning, Delivery, Closing, and Post-Installation.
  • Monitor all aspects of project plans to ensure milestones, timelines, and budget targets are met.
  • Monitor Risks and initiate necessary Proactive and Corrective Actions
  • Manage Change Control and Procure change orders
  • Manage Vision team and/or subcontractors/vendors to ensure timely and high-quality work.
  • Monitor and drive the quality assurance process during all phases of the project.
  • Continuously expand / farm existing Accounts for additional opportunities to introduce other Vision services. Look for new opportunities with new clients that enable Vision to provide cabling, A/V, security, Wireless/DAS, and/or network infrastructure services.
  • Aligning all contract documents (PO, Contract, Proposal, PnL)
  • Proper billing schedule
  • Performing weekly reviews of:
    • Project / Field Budget Trackers
    • Project Metrics system
    • Invoicing due
    • Pending Awards
    • Accounts Receivables
  • Understands the critical importance of both customer experience and customer service.
  • Proactive and professional communication with internal and external customers.
  • Effective working in team situations as a contributing or leading member.

Qualifications

 

  • College degree or AA preferred.
  • PMI PMP Certified or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent fluency with project management methodologies.
  • Excellent PC skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledgeable in one of the following areas: structured cabling, Audio-Visual, Access Control, CCTV, Wi-Fi or DAS.
  • Ability to travel as needed locally
